GARDEN OF LIFE
The title for these pages came instantly to me. I do look at life as though it were a garden. I have always dug deep into everything that interests me, planting my roots firmly that they might stretch and grow. Throughout my years of living I have composted that which I need to, turning it back into something of value, to reenergize the soil of my soul, returning it to my life. As long as I can remember I have been a writer, and recently a published writer. Words are part of me. They are always floating in my head waiting to be placed upon the page. Although I long for more time to write my heart out, I do make time to write, as I must. Often it is the wee hours of morning when the rest of the world is quiet and asleep, where a stillness like no other time of the day is much like a gift, waiting for me to untie the bow. I sit with my journal and scribe my thoughts to a blank page, opening my heart and letting my words flow. I know no other way to write but from my heart. Wordy Gertie perhaps would fit me as well as Garden Gertie for a nickname.
I hope you might enjoy the sections here I have created and come back often to peak in and see what I have added. If you would like to be updated by email notification when a new entry is posted to my Garden of Life please send an e-mail to me at: grdngertie@aol.com
